Sonu Sood was advised to be in bed for about eight weeks after he was recently injured in Dubai while playing cricket.
He is now recuperating well but doctors have asked him to stay away from shooting. This has cost him dearly. He has lost the coveted role in Telugu version of Zanjeer.
Now, Srihari has replaced him. Indeed, Srihari was the original choice for this role but for some reasons the makers approached Sonu Sood and the Bollywood actor immediately agreed.
With Sonu Sood`s injury, the makers had to approach Srihari again. Currently, the scenes are being canned on Srihari.
Zanjeer is simultaneously being shot in both versions, Telugu and Hindi separately. While the Hindi movie is being directed by Apoorva Lakia, Telugu version is supervised by director Yogi.
